Andrew and Tina Kogel

Kogel Glass

Andrew Kogel’s love for glass began on family trips to the Oregon Coast, where glass floats and live demonstrations sparked a lifelong passion. After high school, he refined his skills at the Pilchuck Glass School (2007–2008), studying soft glass furnace work before returning to Lincoln City to continue his journey.

Tina Kogel’s artistic roots began in ceramics alongside her grandmother and later expanded into glass. In 2006, she apprenticed under glass artist Art Ciccotti, eventually teaching ornament and float-making in Skagway, Alaska while developing her own style.

The two met working in a Lincoln City studio and officially joined creative forces in 2010. Inspired by the sea and the thrill of marble hunting, they later built a home torch-working studio specializing in borosilicate art glass. Andrew creates intricate hobnails, vortex marbles, and sculptural pieces, while Tina is known for her bold colorwork and striking patterns.

Together, they continue to push creative boundaries, sharing their passion for handcrafted glass with collectors near and far.
